Yoga is an excellent way to promote your well being through physical exercise, concentration, and relaxation. But there is something about yoga that many don’t know, this practice is more than a physical exercise. There is a whole philosophy behind which is called the eight limbs of yoga, which is an eight step process that a Sage called Pantajali wrote in “The sutras of Yoga”. This sage is better known as the “father” of modern yoga. The idea is to reach the goal of yoga which is Smadhi, a moment or state of mind dedicated to creating balance and equanimity to live in peace, good health, and harmony with the greater whole.
