Land of Senses & Magical Rainforest
Sensoria, owned by the Madrigal-Beck family from Costa Rica, is a small business dedicated to protecting the rainforest on our property. Since opening to tourism in 2013, we have aimed to share the beauty of this unique ecosystem while preserving its integrity. We utilize only 1% of our land for tourism, ensuring that the majority remains a sanctuary for wildlife, especially as we neighbor the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts 6% of the world's biodiversity.
Sensoria is committed to sustainability, operating under the CST Elite certification, the highest designation in Costa Rica. We generate our own energy through waterfalls and solar panels, making us a government-approved, off-the-grid operation. Our conservation efforts include programs like the “Jaguar Program," which focuses on research and protection for jaguars and other wild cats.
By visiting Sensoria, you are helping us preserve the rainforest and its incredible wildlife

Thermal
Sensoria's Thermal Waters
Sensoria’s thermal waters are among the rarest on the planet, found only in select regions of Costa Rica, Mexico, and Argentina. Heated naturally by the volcanic magma of Rincón de la Vieja, these waters flow freely through untouched riverbeds—never confined by cement—creating pristine pools surrounded by lush rainforest.
